During the third quarter of 2024, the health and fitness app category on iOS in Spain showcased interesting trends among the top-performing applications. Insights from Sensor Tower reveal how these apps fared in terms of downloads, revenue, and active users.

Strava: Run, Bike, Hike experienced a notable increase in weekly revenue, peaking at about $51.6K in late July. Weekly downloads also saw a consistent upward trend, reaching approximately 13.7K by the end of September. Meanwhile, active users steadily climbed from around 84.7K in early July to over 100K by the quarter's end.

Flo Period & Pregnancy Tracker reported a significant surge in weekly revenue, with a peak of roughly $19.7K in early September. Despite a decline in weekly downloads from July's 8.8K to 7.3K at the end of September, active users remained stable, fluctuating around 145K throughout the quarter.

MyFitnessPal: Calorie Counter maintained a steady revenue trend, closing the quarter at approximately $8.8K per week. Downloads showed a slight increase from 2.6K to 2.9K, but active users experienced a gradual decline, dropping from 94K to 83.9K over the three months.

Impulse - Brain Training saw its revenue peak at around $7.5K in early August. Weekly downloads spiked to 7.7K in late August before settling at around 3K by the end of September. Active users mirrored this pattern, peaking at approximately 10.9K in late August and then decreasing to 6.3K.

Zwift: Ride and Run had a consistent revenue increase, reaching about $7.8K by the end of September. Although downloads were modest, with a peak of 72 in the last week of September, active users showed a slight upward trend, ending the quarter at 537.
